With Covington County’s prime location, available properties, affordability, and incentives, several manufacturers call us home, including Arclin, American Apparel Inc., MFG Galileo, Henderson Sewing Machine Co., Huhtamaki, Saehaesung, Sonoco, and Shaw Industries, a carpet manufacturer. Shaw Industries operates the world’s largest extrusion plant right here in Covington County. Shaw invested $250 million in its Andalusia plant in 2018 and employs over 1,000 workers.
